Accessing the Product ID

About this task

The product ID identifies both the messaging software and the Communication Manager server. You must have the product ID when you are contacting your remote maintenance service center.

To access the product ID:

Procedure

  1. At the SAT command line prompt, type logoff to logout of the SAT command line

    interface

  2. At the Linux® operating system prompt, type productid and press Enter.

    The system displays a list of installed products.

  3. Verify that the server product ID, messaging product ID, and the RMB product IDs are

    displayed.

    If the IDs are not displayed, you must reinstall the system.
