Enabling Message Manager on an Individual Basis

About this task

To administer an individual subscriber for Message Manager:

Log in to the Communication Manager Messaging web page .
Under Messaging Administration, select Subscriber Management.
If you know the extension number,enter it in the Add or Edit text box.
Or else, click the Manage button for Local Subscribers.
The system displays the Manage Local Subscribers page.
Select the subscriber to be edited and click the Edit/Delete the Selected Subscriber button.
The system displays the Edit Local Subscriber page.
Enter y in the fields labeled:
- MCAPI Access?
- MCAPI Message Transfer?
Security
Allowing MCAPI and trusted server access increases the possibility for toll fraud. See System Security for more information.
Set the Voice Mail Message Maximum Length to 1200 seconds.
Set the Call Answer Message Maximum Length to 1200 seconds.
Set the Mailbox Size Maximum to at least 12000 seconds.
Click Save.
