Setting System Fax Options

About this task

To enable the messaging software to use Fax Messaging:

Go to the Communication Manager Messaging web page.
Under Messaging Administration, select Fax Options.
In the Fax Enabled? field, select y.
Note
Fax is the default name of the Fax server and cannot be changed.
In the Fax Deliveries to the Specified Dial should be (allowed/denied) field, select allowed or denied, whichever is appropriate.

Click Update Features to save the information in the system database.
