Activating an Announcement Set

About this task

The announcements that you and other subscribers and callers hear are the announcements contained in the active announcement set. Normally, after you make changes to an announcement set, you activate it.

To activate an announcement set:

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Communicatioin Manager Messaging web page.
  2. Under Messaging Administration, select System Administration.
  3. The system displays Administer System Attributes and Features page.

    You can list all available announcement sets. See Listing Announcement Sets for more information.

  4. In the System: field, under ANNOUNCEMENT SETS, enter the name of the announcement set you want to activate.
  5. Subscribers and callers will hear the announcements in the announcement set.
