The AS application generates this alarm to indicate a problem with
the Access Security Gateway (ASG):
Cause
Someone tried, and failed, to log in to the messaging system by
using an ASG-protected login.
Repair Procedure
Procedure
Identify the employee who is using the failing login ID.
Determine whether the employee assigned to work on the
system has been having difficulty logging in or needs additional training.
Test the login.
If the login fails, the key might be having problems or
the initial code might have been entered incorrectly; do the following:
Administer the key again.
The login that is making the change must be equal to or higher
than the login being changed. For example, the sa login can change
both the sa and vm logins, but the vm login can change only the vm
login.
Test the login after changing the ASG secrect key.
