TCP/IP is a form of digital networking supported for Communication Manager Messaging. TCP/IP networking uses the Communication Manager server's Ethernet connection, which enables the messaging software to connect to a customer's LAN.
TCP/IP network access is automatically available with the messaging software through the TCP/IP Administering TCP/IP LAN Connectivity connections of the Communication Manager server, and no specific TCP/IP administration for the messaging software is required.
