Shipping Policy

DataCom is committed to providing a fast and reliable shipping experience to our customers. Below is our shipping policy, which outlines the procedures and guidelines for shipping orders.

Shipping Rates

Our preferred shipping carrier is Canada Post. We can also ship using FedEx, UPS, or a carrier of your choice if previously arranged before initiating the ordering process.  When placing an order, shipping rates are calculated live by Canada Post based on the size and shipping weight of the product ordered, and the shipping destination.

Shipping Methods

During the Order Checkout process, Canada Post will offer you a variety of shipping methods that include Regular Parcel™, Xpresspost™, Priority™, and Expedited Parcel™, based on the size and weight of the packaged shipment and on its destination.

Delivery Times

Actual delivery times depend on the shipping destination and the shipping method selected. Exceptions to delivery times can occur due to delays caused by inclement weather, service disruptions, and other factors beyond our control.

Order Processing

Orders placed before 2 PM ET that qualify for same-day shipping will be processed and shipped (except for statutory holidays) on the same business day. Orders placed after 2 PM ET will be shipped the next business day.

Tracking Information

All domestic parcel services (Regular Parcel™, Xpresspost™, Priority™, and Expedited Parcel™) include tracking. Canada Post will also provide online tracking for small and lightweight items under 2 kg. and liability coverage up to $100 (some conditions apply) with Tracked PacketTM – International, shipping to 38 select countries. See the Canada Post International shipping chart. Tracking information will be sent to customers via email once the order has been shipped.

Return Policy

If you need to return an item, please review our Return and Refund Policy.

International Orders

We ship internationally to different countries. International shipping rates apply and may vary depending on the destination. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees when ordering or returning goods or services, and for any customs or import fees that may be associated with receiving international orders. International orders may also be subject to the Restricted Goods and Technologies.

Damage or Loss

We take great care in packaging and shipping our products, but in rare cases, damage or loss may occur during transit. If your order is damaged or lost during transit, please follow the procedure outline in our Return and Refund Policy to arrange for a replacement or a refund.

Insurance Coverage

Based on what is shipped and the shipping service used, Canada Post does provide some insurance coverage for lost, late, or damaged items. Please contact us before ordering, if you would like to arrange additional coverage.
