System Acceptance Test

Perform the following feature tests before leaving the customer site:

Feature to be tested: From the Communication Manager Messaging Interface: For more information: Completed /comments
Verify voice ports Under Reports, select Measurements. Select the type as Load for an hour or a day and view report. The report also contains data information about the port usage.    
Verify COSs Under Messaging Administration, Classes-of-service. See Listing Class of Service Names  
Verify language packages installed Under Messaging Adminisration, Announcements Sets. See Listing Announcement Sets.  
Add test subscribers (at least two). You will exchange messages between the two mailboxes. Under Messaging Adminisration, select Subscriber Management. See Subscribers

Change default password

Log into mailbox via the telephone user interface (TUI)

When using the TUI, first enter the messaging server number, then you will be asked to provide your mailbox number followed by the # sign and your password followed by the # sign

   
Add broadcast mailbox Under Messaging Adminisration, select Subscriber Management. Assign the new subscribers mailbox as a broadcast mailbox.    
Call answer Leave message, verify lamp is on, delete message, verify lamp is off    
Voice mail Create and send message, verify lamp on, forward message, delete message, verify lamp is off    
Administer Message Manager Load Message Manager on a client, send messages. (use Message Manager software CD for installation)  
Outcalling Under Messaging Administration, select Outcalling Options. Set the Outcalling Active field to Yes and decide related options.

Set outcalling options via the TUI or Message Manager. Verify that it works for both a regular message and a priority message

Test Internet Messaging Create a message in Message Manager, send it to an Outlook client. Note the address. Send a message to the mailbox from Outlook. See Internet Messaging
