System Installation Checklist (for Communication Manager Messaging)

This installation checklist provides descriptions of the required procedures to install a Communication Manager Messaging system.

Communication Manager Messaging release 5.2 and Communication Manager are co-resident on a server. They are integreated using H.323 / Q.Sig protocol.

You can install Communication Manager Messaging release 5.2 on an S8300, S8400, S8500-Series Server.

NoteNote

You must install and configure Communication Manager before you set up the Communication Manager Messaging (CMM) server.

The license and authentication files are installed on Communication Manager.

As you complete a procedure, make a check mark in the " " column.

Use Philips and flathead screwdrivers and an ESD wrist strap.  
4. Install the Communication Manager server Communication Manager release must be 5.2 Use the CD-ROM to install Communication Manager to install Communication Manager software.
