An event is an informational message about system activities that indicate routine conditions or conditions that can lead to an alarm. For example, an event is logged when the system is rebooted.

The event descriptions and resolution procedures in this section are organized by the event application identifier (ID), which is the two-letter code that is used to identify the application or subsystem for which an event is being generated.
